Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness for the AI Age

Leadership Development in the AI Age

As organizations navigate increasing complexity, growth, and change, effectiveness depends on more than developing individual leaders.

Leadership, team dynamics, and organizational systems are interconnected. A challenge that appears to be about communication, accountability, or leadership may have deeper roots in how the organization is structured or how work gets done.

I partner with organizations, associations, nonprofits, employee resource groups, and leadership communities to strengthen effectiveness at the leader, team, and organizational level. Engagements may include leadership development, team development, organizational development, facilitation, coaching, and evidence-based assessments.

Grounded in the Slow Power Leadership Framework®, this work strengthens Clarity, Connection, and Conscious Momentum™. The result is better decisions, stronger relationships, and more sustainable progress as complexity increases.

Client Success Stories & Testimonials

“I came into coaching after being laid off unexpectedly and completely questioning my direction. I was applying to jobs constantly, second-guessing every decision, and honestly starting to lose confidence in myself. This work helped me slow down enough to get clear on what I actually wanted next instead of reacting from panic.

Within a few months, I felt more grounded, more strategic, and far more confident communicating my experience and strengths. I stopped approaching the job search from fear and started approaching it from alignment and self-trust. I ultimately accepted a role that felt like a meaningful step forward professionally and personally.”

— DB, Former Client

Why Partner with Ruth

I’m Ruth Burk, founder of Style Slowly Collective and creator of The Slow Power Leadership Framework®.

Before coaching and facilitation, I led complex initiatives across law, technology, entrepreneurship, and mission-driven organizations. I managed $25M+ portfolios, built a law practice, and worked within environments where leadership effectiveness, communication, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making directly influenced outcomes. These experiences shaped my understanding of what leaders face as responsibility, visibility, and complexity increase.

Today, I partner with organizations, associations, nonprofits, ERGs, and leadership communities seeking to strengthen leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and the development of women leaders.

My work combines real-world leadership experience with evidence-based development tools, including Everything DiSC®, The Five Behaviors®, EQ-i 2.0®, EQ 360®, and CliftonStrengths®.

What makes this work different is that assessments are never the end goal. They serve as practical tools within the broader Slow Power Leadership Framework®, helping leaders and teams strengthen Clarity, Connection, and Conscious Momentum™ in ways that translate into meaningful workplace application.

The objective is helping leaders and teams make better decisions, communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, and sustain performance as complexity increases.

Leadership and Organizational Development Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about leadership development, team effectiveness, and organizational partnerships.

Do you customize workshops and leadership development experiences?

Yes. Every engagement is tailored to the goals, audience, and outcomes your organization is seeking to achieve.

Are assessments required?

No. Assessments may be incorporated when appropriate, but workshops, retreats, leadership cohorts, and facilitated discussions can also be delivered without assessments.

Can these experiences be delivered virtually or in person?

Yes. Engagements may be delivered virtually, in person, or through a hybrid format depending on your needs.

Can you support both women's leadership initiatives and broader team development?

Yes. Engagements may focus specifically on women's leadership development, employee resource groups, leadership cohorts, and women's leadership events, or they may support leadership teams, boards, departments, and mixed-gender teams seeking stronger communication, collaboration, accountability, and effectiveness.

What types of organizations do you work with?

I partner with organizations, nonprofits, associations, employee resource groups (ERGs), leadership communities, and women's leadership initiatives.

How do we get started?

The process begins with an Organizational Discovery Call. From there, I develop a customized proposal based on your goals, audience, timeline, and desired outcomes.

What size groups can you accommodate?

Engagements can be designed for small leadership teams, employee resource groups, leadership cohorts, conference audiences, and larger organizational events. Group size, format, and facilitation approach are tailored to the goals of the engagement.

Do participants need prior leadership experience?

Not necessarily. Experiences can be designed for emerging leaders, mid-career professionals, senior leaders, executives, founders, and leadership teams. Content and facilitation are adapted to the audience's level of responsibility and experience.

Can leadership development be combined with coaching?

Yes. Organizations may choose to pair workshops, cohorts, or assessment experiences with individual or group coaching to reinforce learning, support application, and strengthen leadership development over time.
